A few weeks ago I was in search of a desk and being the frugal woman that I am there was no way I was going to pay department store prices for what I wanted. I cannot stand cheap ill made furniture; I love a good solid structure. I looked and looked with no luck, everything that I found was made from stinking particle board.
Everyone who knows me knows that I am a little crazy about what my son gets fed. I watch his sugar intake like a hawk. And I am not afraid to go all “Mama Bear” on someone giving him sugar. I catch a lot of mess for being this “overprotective” of my son. As parents it is our job to protect our children. People have known for years how bad white refined sugar is for us. I have heard the argument that God gave it to us, so it can’t be that bad for us. So let’s start out with how the sugar gets from the field to our table. First of all sugar is not supposed to be white. Raw sugar has a light sandy brown color. How do you make things white that are not white? Oh yeah, you bleach them!
Hello! Welcome to my page. Let me introduce myself, my name is Sami. I am a single mother to a wonderful little boy who is the love of my life. I love cooking, reading, couponing, and traveling. Being a parent is the greatest adventure I have ever been on in my life. My goal is to try and not screw him up too bad. I suffer with Borderline Personality Disorder, controlled most of the time. Sometimes my BPD gets the best of me and wins the battle. But the war is yet to be won. Thank you for joining me and I hope you enjoy my life as much as I do.
