I don’t think that it is possible for me to express to you how much we LOVE these. This is our go to snacks to keep in the car. I have always loved white cheddar pop corn but I had to stop eating it then I found out that I had all of my health problems, these are not only a great substitute but I actually like them better than white cheddar popcorn. They are light and airy with the right amount of crunch, the flavor that they have cannot be matched. These get 5 stars from the kid and I.
I am not a big fan of frozen meals, but let’s be honest who has time to cook everyday 3 times a day? This is one of those things that I swear I could eat daily and never EVER get sick of. It is packed with flavor! The noodles aren’t soggy like with most frozen pasta dishes and trust me you won’t even miss the meat. They are a little bit pricier than I like but I am learning that most everything gluten free is. I am also giving this 5 stars.
Amy, you failed me on this one. I don’t know if I should even be writing a review on this because I didn't eat the whole thing, in fact I only ate about 3 bites out of it. It was not good! There are little bits of what I can only assume is some sort of mesa patty things… it tasted like under cooked cornbread bits. The consistency was bad enough that I had to spit it out to avoid gagging. I think had it not been for those disgusting little nuggets of grossness I would have given this at least 4 stars… but it only gets 1 (for effort).
Yes. Yes, yes, yes! I find myself baking a lot from boxes these days because I haven’t quite figured out this gluten free baking thing yet (and the cost of the ingredients is outrageous), this was a great box mix. They were gooey and super chocolaty just like I wanted. My mouth is watering right now just thinking about them, should have gotten more than one box. Not so good the next day, they got crusty fairy quickly so they aren’t something that you would be able to make ahead of time. Because they lack that convenience I am going to give them 4 stars.
Have mercy! This is another one of those things that even if I did not have to be gluten free I would still use. It made the PERFECT shortbread cookie. The dough was super dry, I had to add a little water and it was kind of hard to work with at first but once I figured it out I was good. I plan on buying a lot of these for the holidays it is a great cookie cutter recipe. I served them topped with homemade whipped cream and strawberry sauce… they were amazing. If you like a sandy shortbread cookie like I do you need to go out right now and buy multiple bags of this mix! On a scale of 1-5….10 stars.
